This year I’ve embarked on a 5 year long daily ritual. Each day I make an entry in my 5 year techo from Hobonichi. Once you get to year two your entries begin a dialogue with each other. As you make entries in years 2, 3, 4 & 5 you see the previous year’s entry on the same page.

The cat bus and Totoro, always together—at least in this household.

Day 8: Walk I do love walking, it’s my main mode of getting from a to b. But books about walking are also great.

Day 6 photo challenge prompt: Engineering. New subway line being built in Vancouver.

Getting even more last minute and obvious now with the tile challenge.

I didn’t want to do the obvious for the zip prompt but failed in the end ☺️

Escape to the balcony for a little solitude.

We had some weather. A late winter storm rolled through and dumped a bunch of snow a few days ago. Not much left of it now.

Trying to secure some mice in this catch and release mouse trap.

A new Yokoyama Yuichi manga from Breakdown Press. I love Yokoyama’s exuberant, avant-garde style. This one’s a little different from his other work that I have in that it’s in colour—drawn with magic markers. Giving the book a bright candy-coloured expressive energy.
